Generational Partners was founded by Brian Ongeri to provide founders with a different kind of transition, one focused on continuity, long-term ownership, and hands-on leadership.
Brian’s path to entrepreneurship was shaped early by his parents’ decision to immigrate to the United States from Kenya in pursuit of greater opportunity. Watching them leave behind what was familiar to build something new instilled in him a deep respect for long-term thinking, resilience, and following through on difficult decisions.
He grew up in a family grounded in education, discipline, and service, which shaped how he approaches both life and work. As a former collegiate athlete, he developed a mindset built on consistency, accountability, and doing the work every day—principles that continue to guide how he operates today.
Brian is married to his wife of thirteen years, and together they view entrepreneurship through acquisition as a shared, long-term commitment. While the path is unconventional, it reflects how they approach meaningful decisions: thoughtfully, with intention, and with a commitment to see things through.
